Astrea 7 bonds Details 2022: The various bonds offered by ASTRA are open to the public for 6 days, and you must submit them during this period if you are interested in submitting your application for these bonds. Astrea offers Class A-1, A-2 and Class B bonds.

Each bond is being offered with an interest rate of 4.735% (Class A-1), 5.625% (Class A-2), and 6.375% for Class B bonds. However, the final price of the bond will be less than the quoted price. Here Class A bonds are for 5 years with maturity in 10 years, and Class B bonds for a call period of 6 years and legal maturity after 10 years.

The transaction structures of bonds have undergone vigorous stress testing and can tolerate weak fund performance and tough market conditions. However, like other bonds, these are also subject to market risks. Thus, before investing in these bonds, an applicant should go through their documentation process.

Astrea 7’s cash flow is being driven by 38 private equity funds and will cover approximately 982 invested companies. Worth noting is the fact that Class B bonds will be offered to retail investors for the first time.

Out of the total issue size of 200 million, about 100 million will be accepted by the public. The remaining $100 million will be earmarked for institutional investors as well as accredited investors.

Retail investors must contribute at least SGD 2000 or more to the A-1 Public Offering. If you want to go for Class B Public Offer then a retail investor has to offer USD 2000 or more.

If you are interested in applying for an ASTRA 7 bond application, you will be able to apply using one of the following means:

  • ATMs of DBS (including POSB), OCBC and UOB
  • Internet Banking Website of DBS (including POSB), OCBC and UOB
  • Mobile Banking Application of DBS and UOB

Before applying, you must have a direct securities account with a central depository (CDP), and a minimum of S$2,000 and multiples of S$1,000 are required for Class A-1 bonds, and Class B bonds. For this, a minimum of US$2,000 and multiples of US$1,000 is required.

*While Class B bonds are denominated in US dollars, applications will be accepted at a fixed exchange rate of US$1.00:S$1.3866 in Singapore dollars.
